As a Christian woman, do ever feel like you're sleeping through life? Do you ever find yourself crying out for something more but struggle to overcome fear, anxiety, or doubt blocking your path? Or just so exhausted that you can barely make it through the day?

As women in the prime of our life, we all look for ways to live a fulfilling life. But, most times when it comes down to it, fear of failure overtakes any motivation we may have. Often it leads us straight down the path of conformity rather than courage.

But it doesn't have to be this way! You can break free from the monotony of today's society and choose your own destiny. We will explore how Christian women can take action in reclaiming their lives and make bold decisions that lead them down a more meaningful and rewarding path.

Are you often overwhelmed and exhausted by the demands of life? Do you sometimes feel like you're spinning your wheels? If so, you’re not alone. Many Christian women are tired from juggling many responsibilities daily.

As a result we may be sleeping through sections of their lives that are meant to be celebrated and enjoyed. Juggling family, career, church, and community obligations can have an impact on our mental health as well as physical well-being.

It is essential to take the time to assess your lifestyle and make sure that it is conducive to healthful living. Here's a look at how women who follow Christ, can benefit from taking steps towards having more restful lives while still engaging fully in meaningful relationships, work and activities.

Here are a few ways to be fully alive throughout our days.

  • Get on a regular sleep cycle.  When we feel exhausted, our mental focus is blurred. When we get a good night's sleep, we wake up refreshed and ready to tackle the day. When we don't, we just sleep walk through our days and can't wait to get some rest.
  • Without proper rest, we run a greater risk for injuries.  We are not alert or ready to make quick decisions while we drive. We become more suseptable to potential lapses in our judgement..in other words, we are so exhausted that we can't think quickly which is a definite danger to ourselves and others!
  • Take time for yourself. We all need to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life. Taking time for yourself is essential to your mental health. Whether it's taking a walk, reading a book, or just sitting in silence, make sure you take some time each day to relax and recharge.
  • Connect with God daily. Prayer is an important part of our spiritual journey. It allows us to connect with God on a deeper level and receive guidance and strength from Him. Take the time each day to pray and read scripture so that you can stay connected with Him throughout your day-to-day activities. This will help you to be at peace as you fall asleep.
  • Be intentional about how you spend your time. Life is too short to waste away sleeping through it; get a good night's rest so you can be fully alive for each moment of your day!

Take the time to evaluate how you are spending your time and make sure that it is in line with your values and goals. Make sure that you are making the most of each day by engaging in activities that bring you joy and fulfillment.

Living a faith-filled life doesn't have to be difficult or overwhelming. By taking steps towards getting adequate rest, taking time for yourself, connecting with God daily, and being intentional about how you spend your time, Christian women can reclaim their lives and live more meaningful days. Don't sleep through your life; wake up and start living!
